ADVANTAGES:
Its silicon content provides resistance to cracking in the durable natural fruit shell. It is particularly suitable for production in open fields and greenhouses where disease-prone areas are prevalent.
Silicon benefits some stressed plants. It has been shown to increase drought tolerance and delay wilting in some non-irrigated crops. Silicon has also been found to help increase stem strength.
It provides protection against fungi and insects through a physical barrier.
It increases resistance to climatic stress.
